We just returned from a mid week road trip to Franklin Kentucky to see Suzy and Kathy perform together to promote their upcoming tour. It was worth every second of the 11 hours spent in the car on the ride down and back. From the moment these two stunning ladies walked onto the stage until the moment they walked off two hours later, the recently renovated Goodnight Auditorium was alive with pure joy, energy and excitement. Suzy and Kathy released all the pent-up energy and emotions from the long absence from the stage and really seemed to give us all they had. There was no doubt from the beginning that they are truly close friends. Their chemistry together was undeniable and their performance was filled with raw emotions, a few tears, and a mutual respect for each other. Even Suzy's jokes and Kathy's yodeling were spot on. (no fact checking, please) Those of us fans that were fortunate enough to be in attendance held up our part as well. You could tell that we were just as excited, emotional and passionate about finally hearing live music as Suzy and Kathy were about performing it. As the last of the beautiful harmonies faded, we reluctantly accepted the fact that the show was over. I think it is safe to say that roughly 500 people would have gladly stayed in their seats for another two hours if we could have heard more. Sorry about the long winded post. Still a little cranked up after this one. I would highly recommend keeping a close eye on how this tour develops and be ready to jump on tickets if they come anywhere near your location. We did recognize several fellow Inner Circle members in the audience. I'm curious to know what anyone else thought of the show.
