First show was July 1998 at the KUPL-FM listener appreciate show in Portland, Oregon. She headlined with Randy Travis. Billy Dean and Mila Mason also played. "Somebody to Love" was burning up the charts then, so there was a lot of excitement at the show when she played it. I kept overhearing people say she was the best performer that night.
Second show: March 2003, at Sea World in Orlando. I was a college intern at Disney World then. She played with Linda Davis and Deborah Allen. It was a rainy day, so they played part of the show in yellow parkas. But I got to meet them afterward, and got a picture with Suzy, who was so kind and gracious despite the weather. Third and most recent show: September 2005, at an outdoor show at Lincoln Center in New York (where I live). She opened for Ricky Skaggs, and it was a fun, energetic show. Crowd loved it, of course.
I can't believe it's been 16 years since I've seen her in concert. I hope CWH or she and Kathy book a show near NYC.
UPDATE: Fourth show in the books (and first in almost 17 years). Suzy and Kathy in Rahway, NJ, June 2022. Fantastic, to say the least.
